BassamFellows’ belives that, “nature is a key part of luxury living; that contemporary design can also be exceptional quality, handcrafted, and warm.” This project for a mid-century modern house in New Canaan, CT was completed with the goal of renovating an architecturally significant home by creating larger rooms and improving its interior flow. This was achieved by making the home look more graphic and organic. Details and furniture of the home include a solid walnut stool based on the ergonomics of a tractor seat, a floating oak and glass pavilion crafted by Swiss cabinetmakers.
